Mónica Ashida is a curator, museographer, researcher, and cultural promoter born in Guadalajara in 1972. Her career has played a significant role in the development of contemporary art in Mexico through the creation of independent projects, exhibitions, and platforms for dialogue between artists, institutions, and audiences. She has collaborated with institutions such as Casa del Lago, Museo Colección Blaisten, and Museo Nacional de Arte, and previously coordinated Visual Arts for the Ministry of Culture of Jalisco. She currently directs the Ashida Cueto Collection-Archive while continuing to develop curatorial, research, and educational projects focused on contemporary art.

From her perspective as a curator and cultural promoter, she has played a decisive role in the critical and strategic development of the Bolsas Bolsón projects, strengthening their community dimension and their relationship with the community of Cihuatlán and its agricultural partners. Her work has been fundamental in sustaining and expanding the vision of Centro Cultural Costalegre as a space for cultural and collective articulation.

Norberto Miranda Feldhahn (Mexico City, 1985) is a Mexico-based designer working across participatory design, craft and material research. His practice develops collaborative responses to ecological and cultural challenges through objects, functional systems and ephemeral architecture grounded in hands-on experimentation. His work has received international recognition, including the German Design Award, Work of the Year (CNN–Expansión, 2018), and an honorable mention at the National Biennial of Young Architects, and has been identified as a best practice by IberMuseus.

Since 2018, his work has centered on circular material systems through Bolsas Bolsón, an initiative that recovers and transforms low-density plastic waste into structural, functional and cultural applications. In 2023, the project was nominated for the Circular Design Award by What Design Can Do (IKEA Foundation), consolidating his transition toward material innovation rooted in sustainability and territorial impact.
