Bolsón began as an exploration of ephemeral space and as a countercultural attempt to reconcile design with the realities of materials and production.
Experiments started by making bags and bubbles, simply to understand the technique. From there, other things began to unfold.
These projects are traces of that process.

We operated a regional gathering center during 2023 and 2024, where we started packing 4 ton of abandoned material, we have been introducing this material through several projects, learning that this material is rarely recicled due to its organic remains and high costs of preparation and transportation for recycling.

2024
The idea of expanding usability and the material’s life cycles has made us able to retain some of the material during 3 more loops than the original intended at the plantation. POV aid a 3rd cycle project, planned to have a final 4th life.
2025
The semisolid packages are a continuous source of design iterations, since the use of quantitative material is better suited for the level of waste production
On early 2025 we got the commission for developing Local Local’s art fair booths, so we designed some pneumatic walls to host the week long event, these walls are now travelling the way POV did years ago.
We keep evolutioning our designs everytime
During two years, the installation of “POV, you’re a banana” participated with creative communities amongst Guadalajara and Mexico City, summing during its lifespan 11 events, attending +10.5k interactions. During an event at Adentro Gallery we burst the bubble to end its life and give place to its last cycle with us
